Best Value Performance Indicators

The Government set local authorities in England recycling targets for the years 2003/04, 2005/06 and 2007/08. Performance against these targets is measured by adding together the results for Best Value Indicators 82(a) (recycling) and 82(b) (composting).

The following table shows the headline data. The table can be sorted by clicking on the headings. More detailed data can be downloaded using the links at the bottom of the page.

The BVPI’s have been replaced by the National Indicators, click here to view future targets for each of the London boroughs.
