A Waste Disposal Authority (WDA) is responsible for arranging the disposal of waste collected in their area by constituent boroughs (shaded in the relevant colour on the map). There are four WDA's in London:

East London Waste Authority (ELWA)

North London Waste Authority (NLWA)

West London Waste Authority (WLWA)

Western Riverside Waste Authority (WRWA)

The remaining boroughs (white on the map) are Unitary Authorities (UA) and are responsible for both the collection and disposal of waste in their area.
